| Power in a Small Package
EcoFC-XU™, available in 1 to 6-cell versions, generates 4.5 to 36 watts at 0.6 to 3.6 V. They are designed for demonstration and study of fuel cell operation. Although the output voltage increments are the same as LightFC-XU™, more power is available because the membrane electrode assembly in the fuel cell has a larger active area. By comparison, this is more power than is normally drawn from a 9 V battery. EcoFC-XU™ series are straightforward fuel cell stacks, powerful enough to operate small electronic devices, inexpensive to own and convenient to experiment with.
