H2 ECOnomy's new FC-EduSet™ Fuel Cell Laboratory Set operates any PEM air/hydrogen or oxygen/hydrogen fuel cells from 10 watts up to 100 watts and 20 VDC. Tailor made for educational settings, this new teaching tool has the flexibility to evaluate fuel cell performance by varying gas flows and load on the fuel cell, and simultaneously collect the data needed to produce polarization curves.
The system is manually operated to set gas pressures, gas flow rates and the current drawn from the fuel cell. The 100 watt load bank displays the voltage, current and power of the fuel cell. Documentation includes student experiments that demonstrate the basic concepts of fuel cell operation.
