The bidirectional DC/DC-converter-module has a galvanically isolated RS232 interface. It works with a baud rate of 115kbps.
For a direct connection to a PC there is a 5V power supply and a level converter necessary. All parameters (Currents, voltages etc.) can be read and set with this interface. A simple ASCII-protocol is used, so it is possible to communicate with the module with a terminal program or customized software. For test purposes the manufacturer’s software named "Module Config. Suite" is included in scope of delivery, which can be used to communicate with the DC/DC-converter-module. This tool shows all parameters well arranged on the screen. It is also possible visualize currents and voltages graphically.
The module has two additional inputs which can be parameterized via the communication interface.
