    SMART Fuel Cell Technology
    The real-time data acquisition system CVMS serves the multi-voltage measurement of cascaded fuel cells and electrolysers High-Caps.

    CVM-modules are available for 60 cells and 90 cells; Up to 31 units can hintereinandergeschaltet, bringing up to 2,790 cells can collect.

    The configuration of the CVM-module and the transmission of values through CAN.  There are two CAN after ISO 11898 foreseen: the individual values are on the iCAN-Bus transferred and typically on a PC (CVMVIEW! Pro), the second CANbus (eCAN) transmits compressed information and is often associated with the fuel cell control unit.

    The measurement unit can be connected directly to a fuel cell or grown in a test integrated. The connection to the test via individual connection lines to terminal blocks.

    The CVM-module may, at the appropriate number of cells directly from the fuel cell or externally supplied. For the connection to the power supply and for the CAN are special cable.

    To control and visualization are two Windows programs available:
    CVMLIB! Pro allows the control of the CVM-module on standard languages such as C, C + + and LabVIEW.  Depending on the configuration and allows visualization via a graphical user interface.

    Cell voltage monitoring system

    60 or 90 input channels, can be cascaded for up to 2790 channels.
    Compact housing, protection class IP54, can be mounted directly onto fuel cell stacks.
    Operating temperature range –25°C to +105°C.

    Measuring range per channel ±1.2 V or ±2.8V, measurement uncertainty 0.1%, sampling time per channel 1ms, cycle time 80ms and 110ms, common mode rejection ±80V, isolation 1kV

    Embedded functions: detection of contact interruptions, masking of single cells, alarms at exceeding limits.

    Control of the measurement module through reprogrammable microcontroller with comprehensive firmware.

    Wide power supply range 7 to 60V, communication via CAN bus..
