Precision doctor blade over a heated vacuum back on a Coatema ECC (EasyCellCoater) is an advanced lab coater for thin film element R&D and pilot production.

The ECC 500 Combi Coater has a one-half meter square coating area with a doctor blade for precision direct coating on a substrate and a screen coating system with pneumatic lifting and lowering of the frame to prevent smearing.

The EasyCellCoater allows accurate, even, and repeatable applications of thin film solutions to cell elements. The solutions can be applied to in many layer or a single layer and on one or both sides.

The ECC uses a precision quality doctor blade, or other application system, to spreads the solution evenly and accurately over the surface to be coated.

The ECC is available in sizes ranging from A4 up to 1 meter square. Options include a heated vacuum back and a wide variety of application systems.
