| Description | Established in April 2006, the New Energy Technology Division is charged with the mission of developing the advanced energy and energy-related technologies. In particular, it focuses on the development of systematic technologies and the provision of related services. As of September 2006, the division employed a total of 112 full-time employees in six research laboratories and one main office. The New Energy Technology division undertakes government commissions and receives government funding to conduct research into wind & solar, biomass energy, waste recycling and treatment, fuel cells and numerous other advanced technologies. At the same time, it provides such services as microwave equipment, and Infrared Spectrum Radiameterand fuel cell testing equipment. Through its work, the New Energy Technology division hopes to develop and innovate new energy sources and research cutting-edge technologies for industry in the near future. |
