| Description | Direct Methanol Fuel Cell Corporation (DMFCC) is commercializing next generation portable power solutions using patented DMFC technology developed at the Caltech/NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory and the University of Southern California. DMFCC’s products will satisfy the world-wide consumer need for higher energy density portable power systems that are also more convenient than today’s battery technologies. Our associated methanol refueling cartridge business is as attractive as the fuel cell power source itself. Consumer demands for higher energy density in portable power applications (without recharging inconveniences) cannot be met by existing or planned battery technologies. Our products, which can be produced with existing high volume manufacturing processes, will supplant rechargeable batteries in consumer products because they offer end-user valuable benefits including higher energy densities (longer operations times), instantaneous “recharging”. |
