| Description | The Materials Science & Technology Division at the Los Alamos National Laboratory is working on fundamental and applied R&D on PEM, Direct Methanol and SOFC fuel cells and related technology for US DOE, DoD and industrial collaborators. The division has built and incorporated a 70°C DMFC stack into a complete 60W self-sustained power system developed in collaboration with Ball Aerospace. Los Alamos has also been working on fuel cell for military applications with Motorola and DARPA. |
