| Description | The Canadian Transportation Fuel Cell Alliance is a CA$33 million federal government initiative (lead by Natural ResourcesCanada NRCan) that will demonstrate and evaluate fuelling options for fuel cell vehicles in Canada. The Program focusses its efforts on showcasing refuelling demonstration projects, evaluating different fuelling routes for light-, medium- and heavy-duty fuel-cell vehicles, monitoring the resulting greenhouse gas emission reductions, and developing the necessary supporting framework for the fuelling infrastructure, including technical codes and standards, training, certification and safety. The CTFCA is supported by the industry, including organizations such as: Ford, General Motors, Ballard, Methanex, Stuart Energy Systems, Hydrogenics, BC Hydro, Hydro Quebec, ATCO Gas, Imperial Oil, Dynetek, Fueling Technologies, Transport Canada and the National Research Council. |
