| Description | Founded in 1985 to strengthen Nordic cooperation in the energy field, Nordic Energy Research subsidises projects by drawing on contributions from the participating countries, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden.
In the 2003-6 Nordic Energy Research programme, the hydrogen society is one of five key research areas, leading to the finance of a number of specific projects. These include: New Metal Hydrides for Hydrogen Storage; Nordic/Baltic Fuel Cell Network; NORSTORE, the integration of advanced hydrogen storage materials and systems into the hydrogen society; and Nordic Hydrogen Energy Foresight. |
